  1. Select the "Start" button at the bottom, far left corner of the screen.
  2. Select "Settings" and then "Control Panel."
  3. In the "Control Panel" section, select "Display."
  4. Select the "Settings" tab.
  5. Adjust the setting on the "Desktop Area" of the "Display Properties" section until it reads "800 by 600 pixels."
